12 weeks prego and have not been to a doctor....?

I was in the transition of moving when I found out i was pregnant and decided to wait until I got to Colorado to go to a doctor. I was hoping to get on my boyfriends insurance but he got laid off and I applied for Medicaid two weeks ago but it could take up to six. Anyway I'm twelve weeks pregnant now and still have not been to the doctor, how serious is this and can I wait until I resive medicaid?
