It will all come down to who your boyfriend chooses to be. He doesn't have to follow their path but if he does you have a choice to let that system be a part of your life or to reject it. And do you want to live a a world where you're not comfortable or might be rejected yourself? This is a tough situation and I'm sorry your love will be forced to endure it.
