What color would match the wooden floors (pic)?
Appears to be a nice red oak. Greens & blues go well with this floor. I would go to Sherwin Williams & look at the greens & blues in the Fundamentally Neutral palette. A couple of my favorite colors are 6178 Clary Sage or 6213 Halcyon Green (my topr fave) Notice that these are in the middle of the strip, called mid-tones. I find that most people are most comfortable in that range. The tint at the top of the strip is good for your ceiling. The shades at the bottom are good for accents. You can combine browns & tans nicely with these colors. Your trim should be crisp white. I suggest SW"s Duration Home line in a flat finish for a velvety finish that is still scrubbable. You can add a nice natural flokati rug for texture & depth & another natural element. How about linen as a window treatment or woven wood roman shade... or both??? Just explore natural elements at every decision & choice for a relaxing room.
