How to ride this pony?

Keep a tight rein, not enough to hurt him. Carry a crop. When he bolts pull him back, make him back up turn him around in a circle and try again. Let him know who is boss. When it is time to canter or something more advanced than the trot, give him light kicks then a crack on the shoulder or rear.he will probably try to bolt again, but when he does that talk calm to him like a baby. When the lesson is over and he did okay with techniques pat him on the neck talk to hm nicely and maybe offer to spend time with him for a little.
